What will you do as a truck driver?
As a truck driver at Gjaltema, no day is the same. One day you will be driving through the hustle and bustle of the city and the next you will go into the region and drive through the beautiful Dutch landscape. You do all this with one goal: transporting scaffolding material.

You ensure the timely delivery and collection of scaffolding material, the administrative actions and the waybills. You are more than just a truck driver: you are given the responsibility for the entire process.

What we ask of you
At the Gjaltema Group we do it together, so naturally you are a team player.

Are you in a traffic jam, is the scaffolding material not loaded or unloaded on time or is there a problem at the construction site? You remain calm and know better than anyone how to deal with these kinds of situations because of your customer-friendliness and good communication skills.

A checklist so you can quickly see if we are a match:

You can:

• work accurately;
• independently take up tasks;
• keep an eye on the overview despite the crowds.

You have:

• perseverance;
• a valid CE driver’s license;
• a valid driver card;
• a complete code 95;
• a TCVT certificate;
• a valid forklift truck certificate;
• several years of experience in a similar position;
• good communication skills;
• no 9-to-5 mentality.

You are:

• resistant to hectic;
• customer-friendly;
• the face of the company.

Your working days are Monday to Friday. During busy periods, an overnight stay may be required.
In addition, you get 25 vacation days and 7 ATV days on an annual basis based on a full-time employment. The possibility exists to purchase additional vacation days.

We first offer a fixed-term employment with the prospect of a permanent position.
